The computer lab MA446 is reserved for this course during afternoons.
Goals with this course
The coals of this course is to:

Give students an introduction to Scientific Visualization and a working
knowledge of the more common techniques and algorithms.

Give students experience of developing visualizationapplications.

Give students an overview of application areas where Scientific Visualization
is of importance.

Litterature
The main textbook is: William Schroeder, Ken Martin and Bill Lorensen
(1998) The Visualization Toolkit, 2nd ed. Prentice Hall, ISBN 0-13-954694-4.
Additionally some material will be distributed during the course.
Examination
The examination on this course is thorugh a written exam, in addition
there are compulsory computer assignemnets.
If the assignments are turned in before the deadlines specified on the
schedule
students get a bonus towards the written exam.
