Hi
As you probably have guessed by name my name is Jan Erik Moström and I work at the Department of Computing Science at Umeå University.
I spend most of my time doing two things, the first being teaching. Over the years I've been teaching a fairly wide range of subjects, ranging from electronics to human-computer interaction. But most of my courses are programming courses. Lately I've also been teaching custom courses to various companies, for example Tieto Enator and Ericsson.
I've always been interested in how people understands programming and this have made me study some psychology and other non-CS stuff. This interested has resulted in that the second thing I do is research within Computer Science Education Research.
Although I'm interested in many things I consider myself to be a programmer (but unfortunately the time for programming is severly limited) and I actually consider coding as a way to relax.
