Education Computer networks is an undergraduate course given by Dr. Jerry Eriksson and Jonny Pettersson. The course focuses on modelling and simulation of transport protocol behaviour assuming both real-time and non-real time traffic. The students will also learn how different computer networks, such as ATM networks and IP-based networks, handle the traffic imposed on them. Thus, a significant part of the course is about flow and congestion control on hosts and routers. Currently, a master student, investigates to what extend OPNET is suitable also for other courses at our departement. For example mobile computing and distributed computing.
