PROJECTS
Quality Management for Small Enterprises
Objectives
The implementation of quality improvement programs require resources
that small enterprises usually cannot set aside without risking their
business. Existing models for process and people improvement, like for
example CMM, BOOTSTRAP, SPICE, PSP, TSP, and P-CMM, are intended for
large and medium size companies. These models often have a
considerable overhead and are not directly applicable in small
enterprises or development units.
The long-term goal of this project is to develop a practically and
theoretically sound quality management model for small companies, with
adequate tool support.
Amore detailed project description can be found here.
This project is part of the Software Engineering
Cluster and funded by the Swedish National Board for Industrial
and Technical Development (NUTEK,
grant P11755-1) and Svenska
Test.
