Jan's husband, Tim Burke, took this picture just after lunch at a restaurant on Piccadilly Street.
Thanks to Kate Ryan, who knows both writers through her work for a magazine, the two began exchanging letters and phone calls several years ago. This was the first time they met in person.
Jan is a long term fan of Peter O'Donnelll's work, and her book "Flight" is dedicated to him.
