Research agenda

To create systems that facilitate individual everyday physical-virtual activities (Pederson, 2006). This implies to explore the technological possibilities of decreasing the gap between the physical (real) and the virtual (computational) world (Pederson, 2003) using methods and technologies from within the area of Ubiquitous Computing. It also means to explore the possibilities for mobile computer support for non-office real-world activities.

Projects

2006-2008: easyADL
- Independent life despite dementia

2006-2008:
- Cultural Heritage fruition & e-learning applications of new Advanced (multimodal) Technologies

2004-2005:
- Blending the physical and the virtual in Human-Computer Interaction

2000-2003: Magic Touch - keeping track of things in the office. 6 mins narrated demo clip (50 MB, WMV format)
